The Nickel Family
Our little, homeschooling family of five grew into the most wonderful adult family of five. We cherish family and love our time with our children. My husband and I both have the privilege of working from home. We are able to focus on our family, Labradors and home and it is the most fulfilling life we could dream of. We have raised three children into the most amazing adults, Jacob 23, Jenna 21 & Peyton 18. We are very proud of them and all they've accomplished.
We are blessed to live on a gorgeous 80 acre property in beautiful Northern Michigan. We have rolling hills and lovely ponds and creeks for the dogs to play and explore. They live in a Labradors paradise!
Everyone has a story about how they started breeding and ours begins with a chocolate Lab named, Essie! We fell in love with the Labrador Retriever after bringing home our first chocolate Lab puppy twelve years ago, although dogs and animals have always been a huge part of our lives. We loved Essie so much and enjoyed learning more and more about the Labrador Retriever breed. We began to scour the countryside to find the most amazing English Lab lines for our breeding program to begin the adventure of a lifetime. We have found that raising Labradors is more than just a hobby for our family, it's our passion! It has been our joy and privilege to raise healthy, beautiful, family companions and make them available to you. Our dogs are our family and we give them lots of love and attention daily. They love to explore and run on our expansive lawn, fields, hills and trail-laden woods daily. We take them on several walks each day with us, no matter the weather. In the summertime, they have a blast swimming in our ponds and in the winter time it's snow heaven. It is our desire, at Nickel Labradors, LLC, to give you an enjoyable, fun, smooth experience from beginning to end when purchasing a puppy from us. We try to make the entire experience as seamless as possible. This is NOT our lively hood, career or a money maker for us. Our labradors and breeding program bring us pure joy and we only have 2-3 litters per year. The rest of the time we just enjoy loving on our Labradors and spending time with family. We have found a love for producing beautiful English Lab puppies for families wanting the best companions for their family and an exceptional experience from start to finish. It brings a smile to our face to see our puppies heal broken hearts and bring love and giggles back into a family again.
