Nickel Labradors, LLC
Nickel Labradors is a small family breeder with experience, love and passion behind every English Labrador puppy we raise. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and well loved by our family daily. Our family of five and our Labradors are nestled back on 80 acres of expansive lawn, trail-laden woods, 2 ponds and rolling pasture in beautiful Northern Michigan.
We offer AKC limited/pet registration (no breeding rights) Labrador Retriever puppies in chocolate, black & yellow, with our main focus on exceptional quality and a calm demeanor.
We have a select, well-thought out breeding program, with only a few litters per year, so we can spend quality time with each puppy that we raise on Nickel Labradors. We are intentional about raising our puppies to receive the proper amount of socializing and TLC to bring your family the best puppy possible. Our puppies are raised in our home, so we can see and hear them all day long.
We are dedicated to providing you with a healthy puppy, so all of our dogs have all been OFA certified on hips/elbows and OFA eye CERF and we have health clearances for CNM, DM, EIC, PRCD & HNPK. We are members of "BRED WITH H.E.A.R.T", so you can rest assured you will be getting a healthy puppy from Nickel Labradors, LLC.
We pride ourselves on our exceptional pedigrees and champion show lines and we're grateful to the breeders that gave us the opportunity. We are excited to begin the journey in the conformation ring and to be able to compete in AKC Obedience and Conformation shows with our Labradors. We are dedicated to breeding to the AKC standard and continuing to improve the Labrador breed and our lineage at Nickel Labradors.
We feed our Labs high quality, 5 star kibble, along with milk kefir, herbs, veggies/fruits, kelp, fresh eggs, pumpkin, cranberries & sardines. They receive a very nutritious, well-rounded diet and our puppies receive the same quality diet.
We offer families more than just a beautiful puppy, it is our goal to give each family a meaningful, enjoyable experience from the time their puppy is born until they go to their forever, loving home. Each family will get to know and love their puppy as they grow and develop over the 8 weeks in our care. You will be able to watch how much our family loves on and spoils your puppy daily. We will provide professional pictures, videos and updates about your puppy every day on social media and each week through email updates, so that you get to know your puppy before they even enter your home.
All of our puppies will come with pet/limited AKC registration, spay/neuter contract, wormed 4 times, first set of age appropriate vaccines, health checked by a licensed veterinarian, Health records from a licensed veterinarian, a blanket that smells like Mama, a gallon ziplock bag of puppy food for a slow transition, toys, bottled water for your puppies ride home, a bag of wood chips to help with potty training, a fun, informative puppy packet & a quality canvas Nickel Labradors, LLC tote. Our goal is to make your time with us a fabulous experience from start to finish! We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service!
Most of our puppies go out of state, but we ask that the new owners fly to Michigan or take a road trip to get your puppy in person from us.
We do not fly our puppies in cargo by themselves.
We feel it is scary and unsafe for your puppy to fly alone and we want your puppy to get to you safe and healthy. If you are flying, we require the puppy to go with you as a "carry on" in the cabin. We recommend first class if possible, because it's much less stressful for you and the puppy when flying!
We are happy to meet you at the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, MI or the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, MI at no extra cost, but we do charge a $300 fee if we need to meet you at the Detroit Metro Airport in Detroit, MI and a $400 fee if we meet you at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL.
