How To Apply For a Nickel Lab Puppy!
We do not carry a waitlist. Please read detailed instructions carefully.

We now hold applications on file and when you're ready for a puppy, you can contact us via email when we announce we have a confirmed pregnancy and we will choose from the available families for that specific litter. Not all applications are included for consideration. You MUST contact us via email and let us know you're interested in order to be included for consideration for that specific litter.
You will need a current (within 1 year) application on file to be considered.
To apply:
1. Fill out the application below! (It will automatically be sent to us and saved on file. We will not contact each person just because you filled out an application.)
2. We will make an announcement on our socials and website when we have a confirmed pregnancy.
3. You need to contact us via email [email protected] and let us know you're interested in that litter.
4. We will wait for the puppies to be born.
5. We will go through all the interested applications that contacted us and choose families after the puppies are born.
6. We will contact the families that have been chosen. You will not be contacted unless you've been chosen for a puppy.
7. Pay a $500 deposit when you have been chosen (the remaining balance is due when the puppies are 7 weeks old. Our puppies are currently $4000)
We can not guarantee a specific timeframe for a puppy. We only have a few litters per year.

We try to match up our puppies the best that we can with our families according to what your family lifestyle is and what you are looking for in a new furry family member! We do puppy placement around 6-8 weeks of age, after we have been able to evaluate the puppies for potential keepers. We do talk with the families several times about what they are looking for in a puppy, so we can match everyone up accordingly.
Our puppies go home around 8-9 weeks of age.

Picking Up Your Puppy
We do not ship puppies in cargo!
We do allow the puppies to fly with you in the cabin as a "carry on". We recommend first class, as it is much more comfortable for you and your puppy. We can meet you at the Grand Rapids & Traverse City airports free of charge. If we have to travel to Detroit, Chicago or Lansing to meet you, we do charge an additional fee, but we are happy to meet you at the airport.
You can choose a pick up date between 8-9 weeks of age. We will contact you to schedule a date that will work for you.
