How To Apply For a Nickel Lab Puppy!
We no longer carry a waitlist for our puppies!
We now hold applications on file and when you're ready for a puppy, you can contact us when a litter is born and we will choose from the available families for that specific litter. We will hang on to the names that were previously on our waitlist and you can still contact us for a puppy when you're ready.
We will no longer be contacting our waitlist.
The families that have approved applications on file or were on our old waitlist will be considered for a puppy. If it's been longer than 2 years that we've received an application from you, we will ask you to fill out a new application, so we have current information about your lifestyle. The families that have waited the longest will have first priority.
To simplify:
1. Fill out the application below!
2. Return it to Nickellabradors@gmail.com
3. Wait for a litter to be born!
4. If you are ready to take home a puppy when a litter is born, email us!
5. The applicants that emailed us to let us know they are ready for a puppy will get thrown into a pile, we will review all of the applicants and choose families based on those that have waited the longest and who is the best fit for one of our puppies!
6. Wait for us to contact you to let you know if you've been chosen for a puppy in that litter!
7. Pay a $500 deposit
8. If you were not chosen, we will hold onto the applications for future litters!
We can not guarantee a specific timeframe for a puppy. We only have 2-3 litters per year.

Also....we are looking for as much information about you as possible, so that we can get to know you and your family/lifestyle. Please fill out the application completely, so that we can get to know you! If you only put "yes" or "no" type answers, you will most likely not be considered for a puppy! The purpose is to get to know you, so we know if we want to place a puppy with you!
So, please be thorough in your answers! Points for pictures, cuz I like to see dogs! :)

We are hoping to have a couple litters this summer!
